Once you learn the basic maneuvers most people want to learn little more difficult tricks. One easier trick that is more advanced then the basic maneuvers is a switch stance. Good snow boarders ride equally on both leading feet effortless. An easy way to learn this trick is to devote a full day to riding on the opposite of you unusual leading foot. This will prepare you for learning this trick. Warning, this will be like learning to board again you will fall. Once you master that all you need to do is practice switching your lead foot to your other one and then you ready to go. |

A boarder can tell when he is doing a carve right because is almost feels as if the board is turning itself. To complete a carve a boarder must be ridding fast enough to be able to get low on its edge. What you do is shift your weight to the front of the board and push your heel into the snow making a sharp grove into the snow.
