Axl Rose was born in Lafayette, Indiana. He was brought up deeply religious. He sang in the church choir and teached Sunday School .Axl dad left the family when Axl was two years old. Through his his childhood Rose was in trouble numerous of times with the police and was arrested over twenty times . When he was seventeen he left Indiana and headed to Los Angles in the early 80s to peruse his music career.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

		Rose wanted to melt two styles punk and heavy metal into a unique musical form. He moved through a number of band including Hollywood Rose, LA Guns ,and Rapid fire. After bringing his former LA Gunds band mates ,Traci Gun soon replaced with Slash and Rob Gardner replaced by Steven Adler. Gun N's Roses was formed in 1985.Gun N's Roses signed a recording contract with Geffen Records in 1986. In 1987 the band released there full album Appetite for Destruction. By 1988 Gun N's Roses shot to the top of rock music charts, helped by the surge in popularity of songs like ''Welcome to the Jungle, ''Paradise City'',and ''Sweet Child of Mine''.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

		Throught out the mid eighties and early nineties Axl was involved in a turblent of relationship with Erin Everly. Rose married Erin in 1990, but he divorced her in a month. Erin became pregnant but sufferd a miscarriage. Axl was deeply affected. The marrage between Axl and Erin was anulled in 1991. Rose got involed with Stephanie Seymour. Axl though that Stephanie was the one. Rose was deeply attached to her son, and tried to be a good father figure. Seymour and Roses broke up in 1993 and Axl fell in a deep depression.

 

 

 

 

		After recent success, Axl gave the band a choice to make that give the name to Axl or Axl will leave the band.They ended up giving Axl the name of the band. Gun N's Roses released a album ''The Spaghetti Incdent''. The album only made little sparkand other albums. Now Axl is making a new album called ''Chinse Democracy'' but we are still waiting on the album to come out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

		Slash was born in Hampslead, London England on 23, 1965 and was raised in Stroke oon Trent Staffordshare England. His given name is Saul Hudson. At age 11 he moved to Los Angeles with his mom in. In 1970 his parent divorce and Slash mved in with his grandmother. While in junior high Slash got his first guitar from his grandmother. Slash had only one sting but he could still play the guitar. Slash musical influinces are Led Zep, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Areosmith, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, and Neil Young. Slash devoted at least 12 huors a day into the guitar. His school suffered but his social life got better. Slash joined band after bands. Eventually he droped out of high school.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

		Slash met Alder from the Road Crew and was looking for a good singer. Slash went to one of Axl preformeses and when Slash heard him he immedially wanted Axl. Slash found his bass player Duff McKeagan by him answering a ad in the papper. Slash became tired of Gun N's Roses to form so Slash got into another band Snakpit on the side. It's five O'clock Somewhere went platium worldwide with Snakepit.Slash promised to come back later. Slash ans Axl had talks about the musical direction of the band. Slash saw as a rock and roll band and Axl saw it as a techno/industrial. After heated dicussion Slash resigned from the band. When Slash left the band his fans wondered what he might be going to do. Slash sayed when Axl is ready to make a rock and roll album I will be back. As rose filled Gun N's Roses with hired guns and unknowns, that made clear that Snkepit is his pernant band. Snakepit began there tuor by opening for AC/DC and that gave them a lot of exposure. The next tour went very well but Slash got the fluso tey had to cacel the rest of the tour Slash's flu turned into pneumonia.May 2001 find Slash recuperating and planning the next tour, but Snakpit gaves it's last performces on July 2001.After hat Slash started to play with Duff, Matt, and Izzy. Izzy was in and out of the band but Izzy decided to tour with them. They auditioned singer in 2003. They finaly found a singer, Scott . The band called themselves Velevt Revolvet. The band did some sound tracks to the movie The Hulk and found a record label RCA So far they made three album ''Slither'',''Fall to Pieaces'', and ''Dirty Little Thing''. The band received a great honor in beging nominated for three Grammy Awards. They took home with the best rock guitar preformces ''Slither''. Now Slash is living in Los Angeles and married to Perla Ferrer with two kids.
