Harry Potter

Movie #1:  Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone  This movie made from a popular series by J.K. Rowling hit the big screen in 2001.  In it stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson as Harry, Ron and Hermione.  Some trivia is that in the end, when Hermione hugs Harry, they had to draw out the scene because Emma was embarrassed about hugging Daniel. Some goofs are:  that when Hermione sees a troll, she runs into the first stall, but when the troll attacks, she is in the fourth stall.  Also, when Harry is originally picked up by Hagrid, it is Harry’s birthday, July 31st.  Later on that day, Harry gets on the train, that leaves Sept. 1st.  What happened to August?
Movie #2: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets:  The movie based off of J.K. Rowlings 2nd book was made in 2002.  There were quite a few screw-ups as well.  For example, when Ron gets the Howler from his Mom it is sent by Errol, his owl.  When Errol crashes into the table, the letter is clearly open.  When Ron takes the letter from him, the letter is closed again.Another one is that, it only takes 6 pounds of pressure to pull someone’s ears off.  When the Pixies pull Neville up by the ears, his ears are supporting the whole weight of his body.  It was considerably more than 6 pounds, so his ears should have been ripped right off.  Also, you can see the green Dobby puppet reflected in Harry’s glasses.  These people have got to work on their mistakes.
Movie #3:  Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban:  This movie in 2004, had a new Dumbledore.  Unfortunately Richard Harris, who played Dumbledore in the first 2 movies, died.  Michael Gambon fills the rather old shoes.  Again we find some mistakes.  In this movie you can see Harry’s battery-pack from his microphone. In Care of Magical Creatures Class, Ron only sometimes has his book in his hand while he is watching Harry and Buckbeak.  When Hermione attacks Malfoy, she has her wand in her right hand; but shortly after, she punches him with her right hand without any signs of switching.
Movie #4:  Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire:  This movie, made from the 4th book in 2005, was a little disappointing to those expecting a battle between mascots at the Quidditch World Cup.  Some goofs in this movie are:  the letter that Sirius wrote to Harry read, “By the Way, the bird bites.” While the voice-over says, “P.S. the bird bites.” When Harry is in Moody’s office, you can see a crew member in the glass.  Moody misspells “unforgivable”  in his first class, and in that same class, Harry and Ron move from the front of the room to the middle and back again while Moody is talking about the Imperious curse.
