You should let the bird roam the house/room and pal y with it connately.

Parakeets need you to entrain them or they my not trust you when you what them to.

Make sure you feed them all ways see if food is gone it my not look like it but it might be empty.

If you can’t play with them put some toys in the cage and if you have two of them spray a plastic toy with water even if you only have one.

Clean the cage weekly if possible on the same days and stay with the same food your feeding them.

Let them sit on a tree in the room make sure it not poisonous them also give them treats and cult bones to chew on.

Make sure there are no dangers objects in the room when you have them out of the cage.

Trust that they build will let them go on your hand ever grab them it will brake that trust that you have.

Give them treats and fruit to help them live longer.
