Terry Bradshaw was probably the best quarterback to play for the Steelers. He was the first quarterback to win 4 super bowls with one team. In 1972 he threw the pass leading the “immaculate reception”. He passed for 27,989 yards in his career. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1989.

Franco Harris started his football career in Penn State. Later on he was a first round draft pick for the Steelers. He was chosen for 9 straight pro bowls in his career. In 1972 he caught arguably the best catch in NFL history called the “immaculate reception”. Franco was also a big key in the 4 super bowl victories. Later on when he retired he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1990.

Jack Lambert was up by the Steelers off of Kent State as their second round draft pick. He battled his way to be the starting middle linebacker and eventually became the best middle linebacker in his era. He later played in 9 straight pro bowls and played in all 4 super bowl wins with the Steelers. He was also inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1990.

“Mean” Joe Green was inducted into the college Hall of Fame with Texas State University. He was the 4th overall pick in the 1969 draft for the Steelers. He played in all 4 super bowl wins and played in 10 pro bowls in his career. He was also named the defensive player of the year twice. He was elected into the Hall of Fame in 1987.

Mike Webster was arguably the best center to play in the NFL. He played in the pro bowl 9 times and was an all-pro 7 times. He also has 4 super bowl rings while playing for the Steelers. When he retired he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1997.

Jack Ham was a second round draft pick by the Steelers in 1971 out of Penn state. He was an all-pro 7 years and played in 8 straight pro bowls. He had 25 sacks, 21 fumble recoveries, and 32 interceptions in his career. He has 4 super bowl titles with the Steelers and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1988.

Throughout John Stallworth’s career he caught 537 passes for 8,723 yards and 63 touchdowns. He was one of the best wide receiver tandems with Lynn Swann. He was also one of the best wide receivers in his era. He also played in their 4 super bowl victories.
