  In cook books, they have seven principal groups. They are bar cookies, drop cookies, meringue cookies, molded cookies, pressed cookies. All good cookies require fresh ingredients. Butter is a desirable shortening because of its flavor contribution as well as its shortening ability. All purpose flour is mostly used. Eggs and milk must be fresh and true flavored. First of all, what is a cookie? A cookie is a small flat sweet cake. They may be crisp or soft, thick or thin, dark or light, Plain or full of fruits and nuts, frosted, filled, or decorated.
