Ben Roethlisberger is a premier quarterback in the NFL. He was third in passer rating in 2005. Ben was a rookie in 2004 he made a big impact in 2005 by leading the Steelers to their best season ever with a 15-2 record. The next season he led the Steelers to a super bowl and won. He was the youngest quarterback in the history of the NFL to win a super bowl. The previous youngest quarterback was Dan Marino.
 

Willie Parker or “Fast Willie” was a huge success in 2005 he led the Steelers in rushing yard. He had over 1,000 rushing yards in 2005. He was a huge improvement in the Steelers rushing game. He had a great season. He had a 75 yard touchdown run in the super bowl surpassing the old leader Marcus Allen who had a 74 yard run. His run helped uplift the Steelers to victory!  

 

 

 Hines Ward is an 8th year veteran out of Georgia where he played quarterback. He is the Steelers main go to man on third down plays were he almost always gets the first down. He is second on the Steelers all time receiving list right behind hall of fame wide receiver John Stallworth. He was a big part of their super bowl success. He was the super bowl MVP.

 

Heath Miller is a very good tight end out of Virginia. He was the Steelers first round draft pick in 2005. He made a big impact in the Steelers offense. He was the starter as a rookie. He was the Steelers best rookie. He led the Steelers in reception for a tight end.

 

 

Jerome Bettis is one of the best running backs of all time. He is 5th on the all time rushing leader board. He was a great running back who is likely to make it into the hall of fame in Canton Ohio. He is the Steelers all time rusher he surpassed Franco Harris for that honor. He was the Steelers starting running back until 2005 then they turned to Willie Parker to start. Jerome had 87 career touchdowns and 13,294 total yards. He will likely be remembered as one of the greatest running backs to ever play the game.
