The 2005 Steelers were Super Bowl Champions! They over came all odds against them. They went to the playoffs as the number six seed. They were the first ever number six seed to win the super bowl. No one gave them any chance and they proved them all wrong. Their first game was against the Cincinnati Bengals 31-19. There next game they faced up against the best team in the NFL. The Indianapolis Colts who they defeated    21-18 in a thriller that came down to the last seconds. In the AFC championships game the Steelers defeated the Denver Broncos (best team in the league) by a score of 34-17. There next game was super bowl 40. They went into the super bowl as the underdogs. They won the game 21-10 it was a good game. The Steelers won their first super bowl in thirty years tying them with the Cowboys and the 49’s for the most super bowl wins with 5.
