50's FASHION Clothes from the 50’s where quite wild and colorful! Poodle skirts were the most popular thing to wear; all the girls were wearing them. Many of the girls dressed fluffed out with petticoats and crinolines. These where worn under skirts. As for shoes they mainly wore white keds or saddle shoes. The rebellious women wore tight fitting paths called pedal pushers w/ blouses. Pedal pushers are now coming back into style. |

60's FASHION The flower children of hippies defined the conformity of the 50’s fashion code. Both boys and girls wore bell-bottoms that flared wide at the knees. These specific pants had decorations like patches, drawings, and many fabrics were added. Women wore loose fitting blouses with flowery designs that where called peasant blouses. |

70's FASHION Disco era! Disco was music but also a type of life, in this era, platform shoes were big on the dance floor. Most shirt patterns where swirl and crazy. The colors where loud and clashing making a statement that the 70’s was the era of Saturday night fever! |

80's FASHION The 80’s brought 2 different styles in. 1 ruled the business world especially with women. Women’s business suits had broader shoulders with the help of shoulder pads. The suits resembled those of the 30’s except much brighter with colors like yellows, blues and pinks. The 2nd fashion fad started with exercise. Exercise became a big deal in the 80’s. Clothes became bright and worn casually. Most everything was made of Lyrca and spandex. |

90's FASHION The 90’s is a mixture of a whole lot of different styles. Several decades became modified while others are banned from the fashion world as a monster. The color schemes where dramatic or pastel colors. The classy look consisted of the color black and was used for a dramatic look. Platform shoes also came back and now where appearing in tennis shoes and sandals. |
