Video games have been around for a long time now. If you ask your parents, they'll probably ramble on and on about the first arcade games, the age of Pac-Man and the first in home gamming systems....that is, if you let them. For a while, video games where only played by the nerds and geeks, the anti-social outcasts who live in their parents basement for a good portion of their lives. But these days, things have changed, and video games have suddenly become cool. Boys and girls alike spend hours sitting in front of TVs, trying their best to rack up achievement points on their X-box 360's and beat their friend's scores. Fans eagerly await the release of new consoles and games. Yes, PS3 fans, the PS3 HAS been delayed again. But it's not the End of the world, Alright? Calm down! There are hundreds of video game websites, stores, and magazines. Often, you can hear both groups of girls and boys, or even grown men, arguing over the best Halo or Grand Theft Auto strategies, and the even scarier fans go to the conventions and dress up as their favorite video game characters. Lucky for you I'm not one of those!
