They have also had some of the best players that ever played the game on their team, such as Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle and many others. The Yankees, aka “Bronx Bombers,” won the most World Series Championships ever. They had the biggest sluggers and clutch hitters to lead them to those World Series. They also had one of the best pitching rotations ever.
