2-strokes are a lot more expensive than 4-strokes and are not going to be made much longer. 2007 is Honda’s last year for making 2-strokes. But others such as KTM will hang on. |

2-strokes are so inefficient that they are outlawed in California. But in my opinion I would be more worried about a cat stuck in a tree than 2-strokes polluting too much. And I don’t even like cats! |

2-strokes are a lot louder and make a higher pitched sound than 4-strokes. Also, they don’t idle well because they are built to be run at high RPM’s. |

With 2-strokes you have to mix gas and oil for it to run. Usually the mixture is about 40 pats gas and 1 part oil (40:1). If you just put regular gas into it, it would run for about a minute and then die forever. |

Even tough 2-strokes are selling less and becoming less popular, they are still the best. There is just nothing like a 2-stroke! |

Some brands that make 2-strokes are: Honda (2007 last year) Suzuki, KTM, Yamaha, Husqvarna, and Kawasaki. But just like 4-strokes there are a lot of fake crappy brands that will break a lot after you buy them. |
