Ben Roethlisberger
He is the star quarter
back of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He led the Steelers to a 15-1 record
in the 2004 season. And last year he took the Steelers to super bowl
forty. He is Ben Rothlisburger. Ben was the number one draft pick of the
Steelers and the number three draft pick over all in the 2004 draft. Ben
got his start at the university of Miami Ohio. In the two years that Ben
has played in the NFL he has over 5000 passing yards with 34 touch
downs. At six foot five inches and 241 pounds big Ben is a force to
recon with. I believe that in the 2006 season Ben may just lead the
Steelers to another super bowl.

Wille Parker
Wille Parker, the running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers who in 2004
season alone, had a total of 1202 rushing yards. In 2004 coming out of
North Carolina Wille Parker was picked up by the Pittsburgh Steelers in
free agency. As a Steeler Wille Parker has had good success in running.
Wille has had a total of 1503 rushing yards, 247 receiving yards and a
total of nine touch downs. Wille was a big help to the Steelers in their
2005 season helping lead them to a super bowl victory. I believe that in
the 2006 season Wille will get great yardage for the team and help lead
them to another super bowl victory.

Hines ward
Hines Ward, one of the greatest, most aggressive wide receivers ever to
play football. Hines came to the Steelers in 1998coming out of Georgia
and going into the draft. Once Hines came to the Steelers he became one
of the biggest playmakers. In Hines’s history as a Steeler in eight
seasons he has gained over 7000 yard in 579 receptions with an average
of 12.9 yards per touch. In Hines’s seasons he has had a total of 53
touch downs. Now after going to super bowl forty and being the MVP,
there are good things to expect out of him returning in the 2006 season.

Heath Miller
Heath Miller, the rookie tight end in the 2005 season for the Steelers,
heath came out of the University of Virginia with a big reputation.
Being a first round draft pick by the Steelers Heath had a great rookie
season. Having scored eight touch downs as a rookie, heath almost set a
record. Now already into his second season, heath has a total of 560
yards and 7 touch downs. Hopefully this season will be lucky for Heath
and the Steelers.

Cedric Wilson
Cedric Wilson picked up by the Pittsburgh Steelers as a free agent in
2005 he has been a huge help to the Steelers offence. In Cedricks first
season as a steeler he had a total of 26 receptions with 451 yards.
Even though Cedrick did not get any touch downs in the 2005 season for
the Steelers he still was a big factor in getting deep yardage which
helped them get to the super bowl and win. Cedrick should have a great
season this year. |

Troy Polamalu
Troy Polamalu, one of the most feared safeties in the NFL. At five foot,
ten inches and 212 pounds this small safety may not look like much but
when he flies into the backfield of the offense he wreaks havoc. Troy
Polamalu was drafted by the Steelers in round one of the draft coming
out of the University of South California. Troy is now in his fourth
season with the Steelers. In those four seasons troy has made 174
tackles, 6 sacks, 8 interceptions, 4 forced fumbles, 2 fumble
recoveries, and 1 touch down. Troy has a total of 178 yards all
together. That makes troy one of the biggest threats to opponents and
one of the biggest helps to the Steelers.

Joey Porter
Joey porter, named the most fear player in the NFL by Sports
Illustrated. Joey was drafted by the Steelers in 1999 coming from
Colorado State University. Since 1999 Joey has become an expert at the
line backer position. In joeys career he has made an astounding 296
tackles with an amazing 55 sacks. Also Joey has 18 forced fumbles with 8
recoveries, and 88 yards. Joey also has 9 interceptions with 207 Yards.
That makes Joey one of the best linebackers the Steelers have ever had.
And with that I think that Joey will have a great season leading the
Steelers to another super bowl victory.
