The babysitter’s nightmare came true in 1978 when Halloween hit the scene. It was originally about an insane madman who broke out of the mental institution and into the streets of Haddonfield, Illinois to stalk babysitters. Later script changes turned him into a man out to kill his family. Little known fact: Michael Myers’ mask is actually a William Shatner mask painted white.

The Cult Classic about a cross-dressing maniac and his cannibal family is the movie that pretty much started the whole gore era. The famous Ed Gein Story but with a huge twist, the movie takes place in Texas and of course Leatherface. Leartherface’s trademark weapon is the chainsaw. As a boy Leatherface had a skin disease, and eventually started losing pieces of his face, his solution was to make a mask of other people’s faces so no one would notice. Leatherface has gotten so famous that he has appeared in other movies like “Summer School”, and he has appeared in video games, TV series, and there were even 2 wrestlers named after him, Leatherface and Chainsaw Charlie (Terry Funk). In 2003 New Line Cinemas brought Leatherface back for 1 final movie in a remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Little Known Fact: TTCM was going to be called Leatherface or Headcheese and after it’s release it was banned in the U.K. | |

| This movie showed that the worst thing’s can happen to even the most ordinary people. The Story of Reagan (Linda Blair) starts of as any ordinary story, happy little girl with a happy mother…until it happened. Reagan started acting very strange as if something else was controlling her, it was the devil. After Reagan almost killed her, her mother did something drastic, she called her priest for an exorcism, what would happen next is not a pretty sight. Reagan started throwing up everywhere, cursing at the 2 priests, and eventually killing one of the priests. With no other choice the priest begged and pleaded to the devil to go in him. Once the devil was in him he jumped out a window to get rid of the devil. Little known fact: Many girls tried out for Reagan but none of them wanted to do all the swearing. |

| The Story of the Haunted House on 112 Ocean Avenue in Amityville, New York is not a happy story in fact, that house is the sight of a grisly murder done by one Ronnie DeFeo Jr. on November 13th 1974. On his trial day he quoted demonic voices told him to kill his family, which brings me to the movie. In the Amityville Horror (1979) the story is about the Lutz family (which is based of the real Lutz family that once lived there). No one really knows why the Lutz family left that house with everything still there, but they say they left because of strange phenomenon’s happening within there house. In 2005, the remake of The Amityville Horror came out but with a huge difference, the house was completely different and the whole Indian burial ground crap. Today the house still sits there, however a family lives there now, and they changed the windows, the address, and the house altogether to keep the tourist’s away. Little know fact: The actual home in Amityville was never used in the movies, but a double on 18 Brooks Road in Tom’s River, New Jersey. | ||
