About Toby Keith

 

 

He was born July 8, 1961, in Clinton Utah. When Toby was young his family moved to Oklahoma. He got his first guitar when he was 8, not knowing he would become a Country Music Star in the years to come. Later on he played football on the Oklahoma City Drillers United States Football League team. In 1984 he began playing music full time. Then in 1993 his debut single "Should've Been a Cowboy" went to No. 1 on the billboard Country singles chart. 

 

In 1997 he released he released more songs that all reached up to at least No.10.The in 1999 Toby released "How do you Like me Now" which went to No.1. The double-platinum success of "How do you Like me Now" earned him the award Nominations. In 2001 he won the CMA for best male vocalist.

  The 2002 album Unleashed sold 3 million copies, because of Songs "Who's Your Daddy?" and Beer for My Horses".

 In 2003 Toby released the album                     "Shockin' Yall" which became a No.1.

 

In 2005 he issued  "HonkyTonk University, and in 2006 Toby released "White Trash With Money".
