Pittsburgh Steelers

Ben Roethlisberger after just one year has become a team leader and has brought the Steelers to another super bowl win. He is not only a great passer he likes to run too. He is big so he can take a hit if he runs out of the pocket. This season he was able to connect with C. Wilson, H. Ward, H. Miller, and others for many passing yards. Our offense has really come together around Ben.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are known for a tough running game. But to have that there must be big tough linemen. Alan Faneca is exactly that. He is big and knows how to set a good block causing fast breakaways by the running back. Faneca is a leader on the offensive line and works hard to set a good block.

“Fast” Willie Parker is record holder of the longest super bowl touchdown run. He is a huge part of our Offense. When the “Bus” wasn’t pounding the D down Willie was wearing them down with his blinding fast speed. Hardly anyone can keep up with him in full stride. His runs make the crowd go nuts and always be on their toes waiting for another big breakaway. He is going to be very useful in the future.

Hines Ward has earned a nickname and a reputation for being psycho. He is crazy. He can take a hit worthy of being put on the show Jacked Up and still come up with a smile from ear to ear. He is an all around good receiver he can run catch block take a hit the whole package. Without this super bowl MVP our offense would start to struggle. He is a huge part of our passing game. Hines will keep our offense going with a big catch whenever it is needed.

Jerome Bettis “the Bus” is the face of the hard hitting super bowl winning running game. He simply rolls over defenders for big gains. He is almost a guarantee touchdown when on the goal line. Its hard to imagine how the defense must feel seeing a huge mass of running back running straight at you. The Steelers wouldn’t have been the same without the Bus. Willie Parker will just have to step up.
