This is Troy Polamalu. He is one of the best known Steelers on the defense. He is quick to the ball and is somehow in on most of the tackles. Even better known than his skills is his telltale long curly hair that falls over his shoulders covering his head. The offense should watch out for the wild man with his hair flying around in every direction.

Joey Porter is amazing. He rules the defense. He is one of the most intimidating guys out there. Not only does he pump up his teammates and fans through action he uses words too. He stands up running backs, cuts through offensive lines, and makes game changing interceptions. Joey always keeps the fans on their toes.

James Harrison is a classic big tough linebacker. He makes bone crushing tackles, sacks and interceptions. The usual things you would expect from the Pittsburgh Steeler’s defensive players. What you may not know is that he not only protects the end zone from the opposing team, he protects the field from fans that have had one too many such as the ones at the Brown’s game.

Casey Hampton may not be the most famous player on the field, but he is good. He leads with example and plugs up the middle not allowing any big runs. This keeps the fans happy and pumped and the defense ready for another play. Casey Hampton will always be a big part of the defense.
