When you get terrier, you should be careful where you keep it. Puppies need to be warm at all times and have a bed to sleep in. Usually, adults will find there own place to sleep and it won’t matter. You need to be more careful with your puppies than your older dogs. |

The huge thing to watch out for is fleas! Terriers attract fleas like crazy. They also get pesticides, which is a huge chance on getting a disease. The dogs bedding should be changed regularly. |

Small terriers live longer than bigger ones. For a terrier to live in its normal age it should be good taken care of. Terriers live into their teen years. Bad health for these dogs will make their live shorter. |

A lot of people like to train their dogs, but this is a personal decision. You should train your dog to not bark, not pee on the floor, and it may take a while. If you give them treats that might help them. |

Aggressiveness has many causes. One big problem that causes this is dominance. When a terrier dominates its pack, it is very aggressive towards the other dogs. Terrier’s also get very annoyed by little kids when they touch them and don’t know how to handle them. When a Terrier gets annoyed, or bothered, it will snap at the person. |
