On September 2, 1948, Terry Bradshaw was born in Shreveport Louisiana. Even though many thought he was too small play football, he got a scholarship to Louisiana State. |
| The Scholarship was for football. Bradshaw grew to 215 lbs. and was 6 ft. 3 in. big. His football knowledge also grew which helped him lead the Steelers to become a successful organization. |
| The only thing Chuck Noll was missing from his offense, and soon to be championship team was a running back. At Penn State Franco Harris was demolishing opposing defenses. Chuck Noll Found his running back. In 1972 Franco played his first game. It was not a good one. |

Lynn Swann completed the Pittsburgh Steelers’s offense with a big play receiver. Chuck Noll had one of his best drafts in 1974, bringing in Lynn Swann, his counterpart John Stallworth, and huge linebacker Jack Lambert. |
|
In 1975 the Steelers started 1-2 but won 11 straight games to make it in the playoffs. In the Super Bowl Swann caught only 4 passes, but each catch was 40 yards long, helping the Steelers win consecutive Super Bowl titles.

In the same 1974 draft John Stallworth was brought in along with Lynn Swann. This gave Bradshaw another target if Swann was covered. Having 2 good receivers helped Bradshaw develop into an even better quarter back. Stallworth had some key catches to help win the 1975 Super Bowl.
