  The Little Dipper was Kennywood’s first ride in Kiddieland. It was built in 1947. They added to the ride in 1951. When they added more to it, they added more hills. Unfortunately, it is not still around today. Many children liked the ride so the built a more modern ride, “The Little Phantom.”
  The Old Mill was a family favorite. It has been around for over 40 years. To ride the Old Mill, you had to get into a boat. Inside they scary things like skeletons, spiders, and other things to try and scare children. Sadly, they tore it down just a few years
  The Little Whip was built in the early 1930’s. The ride was when two people would sit in a car and would spin around in an oval motion. Each car was a different vibrant color. It didn’t go very fast, but it felt like it going around those sharp turns. The Little Whip is still standing today.
  The Merry-Go-Round is always a family favorite. This particular Merry-Go-Round has many other options used for rides. Some options are tigers, horses, benches, and some other rides. This ride has been around for over 50 years! It has been working fine and will most likely be working for many more.
  The Mongel’s Kiddie Ferris Wheel is still around today. It was made of five compartments for children to sit in. It was the fourth ride in Kiddieland.  It was made of five compartments for children to sit in. Many children enjoyed this ride. This ride goes eight miles an hour.
