The Taj Mahal may very well be the face of Indian society today. Northern India is a very elegant and extravagant place.

South India is filled with a rich history and geography. There are many beaches in South India. There are many temples and symbolic sites in the south. One of which is a rock, which is where the Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea, and Bay of Bengal meet. Southern India is very important to the success of India today and the history of India.
Eastern India also has a very rich history. The border to the east is the country of Bangladesh. There are many farms in eastern India. Eastern India, however, is still very unique. Western India has a very rich culture. In this region there are states, such as Gujurat and Punjab. Western India is very diverse because it houses people of many different faiths.
