Ben Roethlisberger

A 23 year-old quarterback coming out of the college of Miami, Ohio. Ben Roethlisberger is only in his second year in the NFL. He was drafted in the NFL in 2004 and took the starting position from Tommy Maddox. Ben Roethlisberger  led the Pittsburgh Steelers to 2 AFC championship games and 1 super bowl.

Ben Roethlisberger is the youngest quarterback to win a super bowl in NFL history and it was only in his second year.

 

 

Hines Ward

Hines Ward is one of the starting wide receivers for the Pittsburgh Steelers offense. Hines Ward went to college at George Tech. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1998 and he was picked up in the 3rd round.

Hines Ward has been playing in the NFL for 8 years. He also went to 3 pro bowls in his career. Also, Hines Ward was named MVP (most valuable player) of Super Bowl XL.

Willie Parker

Willie Parker is the Starting running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Willie Parker came out of the college of the University of North Carolina. He made his first career game appearance with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2005-2006 season against the Tennessee Titans.

In Willie Parker’s first career start with the Steelers, he showed off his speed and agility and busted through the defense on his 75-yard touchdown run in Super Bowl XL. Also Willie Parker made it into the history book with the longest touchdown run in super bowl history.

Jerome Bettis

Jerome Bettis is one of the starting running backs for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jerome Bettis was drafted in the 1993 by the St. Louis Rams. Then Jerome Bettis was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1997.

Jerome Bettis went to college at Notre Dame. In Jerome Bettis’s 13 year career, he made it on the top 10 rushing leaders of all time. Through a tough career, Jerome Bettis went to the Super Bowl XL and came out a champion and then decided the 2005-2006 season was going to be his last year.

 

Cedric Wilson

Cedric Wilson is one of the starting wide receivers for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Cedric Wilson is about 6 feet tall. The Steelers picked him up in the off-season of 2005. Cedric Wilson came from the San Francisco 49ers and began playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He showed the fans, his teammates, and his coaches his ability to get open, catch passes, his speed, and his agility.

Ken Wisenhunt

Ken Wisenhunt is the offensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ken Wisenhunt began coaching at Vanderbilt University. His first year of coaching in the NFL was with the Baltimore Ravens. He also played in the NFL too.

The teams that he played for were with the Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins, and the New York Jets. The 2005-2006 season was Ken’s 2nd year as the offensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers and in the previous 3 years, before he was offensive coordinator, he was the tight end coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
