The Plot

Gilmore Girls tells the story of a mother, a daughter, and the world they live in. Since Lorelai (mother) had Rory (daughter) when she was just 16, their closeness in their age allows them to be best friends! They live in a small town, Stars Hallow, Connecticut where Lorelai runs an Inn and Rory goes to school. They have to deal with work, friends, and boys. But even with their busy lives they always find time for each other.

This show has been going for almost six full seasons now. Five of these seasons are on DVD and the DVDs come with tons of Bonus features. They include bonus scenes and commentary from the writers and directors. One helpful Bonus is Gilmorisms, this is a guide booklet to help you understand the Gilmore ways. Another bonus is that at the end of each DVD set there is a collage of many memorable events from that season such as, Who Wants to Argue

(from season 2) (a collage of fighting scenes) and Who Wants to get Together (from season 4)(a collage of romantic scenes). If you like this show (as I’m sure you do if you’re on this site) then the DVD sets are great so that you can see your favorite episode whenever you want!

This show was written and directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino along with others! These very talented people are who make the humor, drama, and love that makes this show so great!
