In the game of lacrosse, your helmet is one of the most important pieces of equipment.  The helmet protects you from getting serious head injuries while playing.  You can buy the helmet in seven different sizes, XXXS-XL.  Certain helmets such as Cascades’ CLH2 (shown to the left) can be modified with Mod Kits (also shown to the right) to change the color of the visor shell and chin colors.

Lacrosse gloves have a variety of different weights, bulks, and overall sizes.  They only come in two different sizes, 12” and 13” sizes.  Most of the gloves have a color choice also.  They also have gloves for beginners and professionals.

Chest protectors are also very important.  It protects your heart from flying balls or sticks.  They come in 3 different sizes, small, medium, and large.  Four major companies manufacture chest protectors.  They are Brine, Warrior, STX, and Gait by Debeer.

Arm guards protect your arms and elbows from swinging sticks.  Yo8u can purchase arm guards that cover and protect your arm or you can get elbow pads which only cover your elbows. Arm guards and elbow pads come in 3 different sizes small, medium, and large.

Heads come in a variety of different looks and types of string.  A head can come by itself or on a shaft.  It can strung or unstrung with hard or soft mesh.  Shafts have a lot of brands and types.  There are attack, midfielder, defense, and goalie shafts.

Rib pads protect your ribs from being hit by sticks or other players.  While playing a game you are not required to wear rib pads.  Although, they are highly recommended if you play attack of midfielder.  You can purchase rib pads that cover just your ribs or you can purchase rib pads that cover your ribs, hips, and gives your spine protection.

Goalie throat protectors protect the goalie from being hit in the throat by a ball or stick.  They are made of either foam or plastic.
