Mike Douglas grew up in British Columbia and he says a big-mountain is something that he has always skied. Mike Douglas is a former Canadian National Freestyle Team Member and is now a coach. He and some of his friends designed, the popular ski of today, the twin-tip. He designed this ski so that when jumping, and doing tricks in the park, it is a lot easier. Some of his favorite moves are trade-switch off backcountry cornices, his trademark D-spins off huge jumps, or slaying steep exposed mountain faces. Now, Mike Douglas is trying to reinvent the big-mountain skier that he once was. Another accomplishment of his is that he is the star of a few Matchstick Productions.
