Spikes are the name of the shoes you wear while playing soccer. They have spikes at the bottom, hence the name “spikes”. Other than that, they are much like a regular tennis shoe, but there are many different styles you can buy. |

The socks in a uniform are worn over top of the shin guards, so no part of shin guard is being exposed. These are required in a game.

If you are interested in being the goal keeper, goalie gloves will be useful. You wear them on your hands like gloves to protect your hands from being sore or hurt. Goalies do not have to wear these although it would be better for them selves. |

The goal keeper shirt is worn on the goalie. It usually comes with padded arms, to protect the goalie while falling or sliding on the ball. Most goalies where a long-sleeved, or a short sleeve goalie shirt. |

The soccer ball is what you play with. For ages, starting to age nine, you use a size three soccer ball. From age ten to age twelve you use a size four soccer ball. Then from age thirteen until you quit playing soccer completely you use a size five soccer ball. It is sphere shaped. |
The goal keeper pants are worn on the goalie. They do not have to but it would be more useful if they did. Goalies usually wear them when it is cold, rainy, muddy, or just wanted to wear. They are padded, just like the goal keeper shirt, for falling or sliding on the ball. |
