O.C Life

In the O.C Mischa Barton plays Marissa Cooper.  She is a senior who attends Harbor High School.  Marissa may look like the girl next door who has it all, but when you get to know her behind the pretty face she is a troubled 19 year old girl.  Marissa is faced with many hard problems.  For example, her dad stole money and lost his job, her parents got a divorce, her boyfriend (Luke) cheated on her, she overdosed and almost died in TJ, mexico.  The fantastic 4 Marissa, summer, Ryan and Seth always help her threw them.  She was dating Luke (Chris Carmack) since 5^th grade but in the 1^st season when Ryan Atwood came that all changed.  Since then Ryan and Marissa have been going off and on for 3 years.

Mischa Anne Barton is currently 19 years old with dirty blonde hair she has blue eyes and is 5”8.  She was born on January 24, 1986.  She was born in London, England.  She moved to New York City when she was 4 years old.  She is half English and half Irish.  Mischa had a very hard childhood.  She had to move around a lot due to her dads job.  Before she reached the age of 4 she moved to England, Germany, Switzerland, and France.  When Mischa moved to New York City she didn’t have any friends.  Even though Mischa didn’t have any friends she  had a loving and caring family.  She had a mom, dad and 2 sisters.  Mischa was friends with the fantastic 4 on and off the set.  She is no stranger to television, Mischa might be famous for playing Marissa on The O.C but she also had roles in other movies.  For example The Sixth Sense, All My Children, Slavs, Lawn dogs, Pups and more.

Benjamin McKenzie plays Ryan Atwood on the O.C.  In the 1^st season he was the new tough, brooding kid form Chino, California.  He was abandoned by his mother, his dad and brother were both in jail.  When Ryan got into some trouble with his brother Sandy Cohen, a lawyer got him out on probation but his brother had to go to jail.  That’s when the Cohen’s decided that Ryan was a good kid and that they wanted to adopt him.  That stirred things up in Newport Beach.  He was not welcomed at first and was faced with some difficult situations.  The big trouble Ryan had was with the loveable, perfect Luke Ward.  The trouble was because of Marissa Cooper.  Marissa was flirting and hanging out with Ryan but was dating Luke.  When Luke found out that they were always together he cheated on her, which left a place for Ryan to come and win Marissa cooper over.  Since then they have had ups and downs for 3 years.

Benjamin McKenzie grew up in Austin Texas.  Ben's born name is Benjamin McKenzie Schenkkan, but changed it later on.  He was born on September 23, 1978.  Ben has blonde hair, blue eyes and is 5”9.  He graduated from University of Virginia and studied Foreign Affairs and Economics major.  Then he moved to New York three weeks before September 11, when the tragedy accured.  Growing up he was a huge athlete.  Football was his favorite sport. He was very good at it.  Not only was Ben good at football but her was always made time for school.  He was always the quiet kid growing up but still had many friends.  He was a normal child growing up.  He had a mother, father and 2 brothers.  Ben was the oldest.  He always manages to chill with the fantastic 4.
