The most important protective equipment is the helmet. Without it, there would be a lot more concussions and injuries. Therefore there would maybe not be any hitting allowed. That is the most exciting part of the game. So the helmet is extremely important.

| Another important piece of equipment is the shoulder pad. The shoulder pads protect the shoulders and chest. It protects these areas from stick checks, hits, and from shots. It also protects them from head shots and keeps players from getting broken collarbones and from some broken ribs. |

Right below the shoulder pads, are the very important elbow pads. These protect your arms from slashes, without them there would a lot of broken arms from the beatings. There are two types of elbow pads, regular and defensive. The defensive one is shorter, because they don’t get slashed as much, and the regular covers the whole arm because the mid and attacks get slashed a lot. |

The last piece of protective equipment is the glove. The glove also protects from all the slashes so the players don’t get broken hands or fingers as much or badly. This also helps the players top get a better grip on the stick. They are even sometimes customized. |

The lacrosse head of the stick is the most important piece of equipment. Without it, you would not be able to catch and throw a ball, which is the most important part of lacrosse. Also without it, there would be no lacrosse at all. The head is also used for the stick tricks which are really cool, fun, and hard.

The shaft is tied with the head for the most important piece of equipment. It connects to the head to make the complete stick. Again without it then you could not catch and throw. And you would definitely not be able to play the game without it. There are also many types of sticks aluminum, CU31, C405, titanium, scandium, magnesium, and many other special ones. Depending on the type of shaft also depends on the durability and weight.

Another important piece of equipment is the cleats. They completely change the way you play the game. It makes you faster, stop quicker, and have better agility than a tennis shoe. Without it, you would have a tough time keeping up with everyone else. You can use football, soccer, or just special lacrosse cleats.
