Monday Night RAW was created around 1991. In a small arena in New York called the Civic Center. They got a TV station to sign them called USA. Big names like Shawn Michaels,The Undertaker,Bret Hart, Ric Flair, and many others had their career shot off there. Monday Night RAW is the most popular between the two shows.

Friday Night Smackdown was a creation made by Vince McMahon to expend the superstars between two days on two shows. Around 1999 Smackdown was created. The TV station UPN bought the next big wrestling show. Then around 2002 Monday Night RAW and Friday Night Smackdown divided their rosters.
