Childhood

            It all started when Cameron was born into her loving family on August 30, 1972. Cameron is very proud of her heritage, which includes Cuban American, German, English, and Native American. So, she grew up eating Cuban food and music, and other Latin customs.

                     As a child she attended Los Cerritos Elementary School, this is how she developed a love for drama. In school she continuously got above-average grades. Unlike her feminine sister, Cameron grew to become somewhat of a tomboy. Instead of hanging out with her female friends, she preferred playing baseball and skateboarding with the boys.

  Teen Years

            In Cameron’s teen years she was a lot like the other girls. She danced on her school’s drill team and was boy crazy.  She had also developed a love for Heavy-Metal music, and says she had been to every Heavy Metal concert that came to Long Beach. Since Cameron was so skinny, her classmates nicknamed her “Skeletor”. Her career was then started when she was discovered by a photographer at age 16.

    Family and Relationships

            Cameron had a very loving family in her home town of Long Beach. Her Father is Emilio Diaz, mother is Billie Diaz, and she also has an older sister, Chimene Diaz. Emilio Diaz gave Cameron her Cuban- American traits, while Billie gave her German, English and Native American. One of Cameron’s important relationships was with Matt Dillon. They met while in Minnesota, since they were both staying at the same hotel.  After months of dating Matt proposed to Cameron and she accepted, but the marriage never did go through.

        Her Personality

           Cameron is a very laid back kind of woman. When she is out in public she dresses casual, and wears little or no make up at all. she explains to a reporter that she has an unhealthy diet , which is hard to believe with her skinny figure. Cameron also has a strong love for animals, she even grew up with numeral amount of pets. Now Cameron loves to just relax with her two cats after working a long day. She is not in show business for the fame or money, she just loves what she does.
