Cameron became famous by starting out as a model. She was first discovered when she was sixteen by a photographer. When she was seventeen she was given the privilege to be on the cover of seventeen magazine in 1990. She was then again able to be on the cover of the September issue of 1990. So Cameron the continued  to model until she was about 21 years old.

     Cameron began acting when she was  twenty-one, she had won the part of Jim Carrey's love interest in the 1994" The Mask". the film had then made Cameron a star, and she continues to act today. Now Cameron is one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood, making 20 million dollars on a film.
