Pittsburgh Steelers

"With four road games, it was wild, sometimes wet, Pittsburgh Postseason."

Steelers vs. the Bengals was the AFC wildcard round at Cincinnati. Jerome Bettis and CO. proved that they deserve to be in the playoffs. the Steelers beat the Bengals 31-17, but the game was over for the Bengals the second play of the game when Kimo made a direct hit to Palmer's left knee. Ben Roethisberger passed for 208 yards, had zero interceptions, and three touchdowns. Jerome Bettis had one touchdown, along with Hines Ward.

Pittsburgh went to the next playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts as underdogs. The Steelers prove everyone wrong by beating the Colts 21-18. Ben passed for 107 yards and made the game saving tackle for Pittsburgh. This game came down to the final seconds when the Colts were in field goal range and they missed the kick and the Steelers won as underdogs.

The Bus: next stop Denver. This was the AFC Playoff game against the Broncos. The third playoff game on the road was another win and Pittsburgh was going to the Super bowl. The final score was 34-17. Roethisberger passed for 275 yards, zero interceptions, and two touchdowns. Wilson, Ward, and Randel El also all had one touchdown. Steelers were taking Jerome home to Super bowl XL in Detroit.

Pittsburgh Steelers take the fifth. It took teamwork, toughness, and trickery for the Steelers to beat the Seattle Seahawks 21-10. Jerome Bettis in his home town only had forty three yards with fourteen carries, but our future Hall of Fame Steeler got his ring.

Ben, Antwann and Hines sealed the win for the Steelers when Randle El threw a forty three yard pass to the Most Valuable Player Hines Ward for a touchdown. Ben not only helped out with the trickery play but he threw for 123 yards and had a touchdown.

At the end of the 2004 season Ben promised Jerome that he would  take him home to Super bowl XL to what could be the last game of his career. Not only did Ben take him home but they won. After getting to hold the Vince Lombardy Trophy  Jerome announced that the Bus stops here. that is how our storybook trip ended.
