Offensive Threats on the Steelers

The biggest offensive threat for the Steelers is quarterback "Big Ben" Roethlisberger. He has had the best year this year.  He threw for 17 touchdowns and  only 9 interceptions.  He threw 268 times and completed 168 of those attempts.  He also threw for 2,385 yards, and had a QB rating of 98.6.  He also ran for 3 rushing touchdowns.
The man who smiles all the time is also a huge threat at the wide receiver spot.  Hines Ward has had great seasons with the Steelers.  He caught 69 pass and 975 yards in this season.  He averaged 14'1 yards per catch and his longest reception was 85 yards.  He also scored 4 touchdowns.
He was the heart and soul of the Steelers for 13 years.  Jerome Bettis had a great season as a running back with 9 touchdowns.  He had 110 attempts and rushed for 368 yards.  He averaged 3.3 yards and his longest rush was for 39 yards.
A player that really came out this year was running back Willie Parker.  He had an all time rush record in the Super Bowl this year for 75 yards, but his long rush for this year was 80 yards.  He had 255 attempts and got 1,202 yards rushing.  He averaged 4.7 yards and ran for 4 touchdowns.
Cedric Wilson who came over from the San Francisco 49ers was our only down field threat at wide receiver.  He caught 26 catches for 451 yards.  He averaged 17.3 yards a catch and his long was 46 yards.  He didn't catch a touchdown, but he lead us to them with his catches.
