Kurt Angle- Kurt was born on December 9th. He went to Mount Lebanon high school. His college career was an amazing one. Kurt attended the University of Clarion. In 1991 Kurt at one point had 33 straight victories. Then he hurt his knee pretty badly but, he continued that year. That year he ended up taking an impressive 2nd place at the NCAA tournament with his knee hurt. The very next year in 1992 he went 26-0 and a NCAA title to go along with that record. In his college career he went a very impressive 116-10. His wrestling career was not done in college. He went on to wrestle for our U.S.A. Olympic team. In 1996 he wrestled for the U.S.A. Olympic team and won the gold.

Rulon Gardener- There was nothing to say about his high school career until his senior year. His senior year he won the Wyoming state championship. After high school he attended the university of Nebraska. In his college career he won a couple of titles. He could not wrestle in the 1996 Olympics due to his staph infection. In the Olympic trials he won which placed him on the 2000 Olympic team. He went on to win the gold over the incredible, unstoppable Russian who had not lost in a couple of years. This match was called 'The Miracle on the Mat."

Dan Gable- Dan Gable is arguably the best wrestler of all time. He attended Waterloo High school. In high school he went 64-0 with 25 pins. After high school he attended University of Iowa . In his freshman year he went 17-0. His sophomore year he went 37-0 and won a NCAA title. His junior year he went 30-0 with 25 straight pins, a NCAA record. His senior year he was 40-0 and had yet another trip to the tournament finals and lost! This would be his first and only loss. He finished his college career with a 182-1 record. In the 1972 Olympics he won the gold. He is also famous for his famous quote " Once you have wrestled everything else in life is easy." |

| Cael Sanderson- Cael grew up in Utah. His whole family grew up on wrestling. He attended Wasatch high school. After high school he went on to attend the University of Iowa State. In college he wrestled at the weight of 185 pounds. At first he did not know what he would accomplish. His record in college was 159-0 which is very rare. He now wrestles for the U.S. Olympic team and will wrestle in the 2008 Olympics. |

| Ken Chertow- He did not really do anything in high school. After high school he attended Penn State University. His college career was an amazing one. He won 3 NCAA titles, 2 Junior Nationals, and 2 World tournaments. He was also very smart. In college he maintained a 3.6 GPA. He went on to wrestle for our Olympic team. Today he runs many camps all America. |

| Bruce Baumgartner- Bruce also didn't have much to say about his high school career. His college was a good one though. He went 134-12 with an amazing 72 pins. He also wrestled for the U.S. Olympic team. |
