Superman the movie is the Superman story starting at the beginning, with him coming to earth in his spaceship. It also shows a couple minutes of his Smallville high life. Then it has him going to Metropolis for his Daily Planet job and Perry White assigns him to be partners with Lois Lane. At first she does not like having a partner but after awhile she starts too like Clark as a friend. It’s much like the beginning of Lois & Clark.

| In the 2nd movie of Superman, he fights 3 kryptonian natives, who at the beginning of the 1st movie were contained in a flat glass window and were floating around in space; it eventually made it to earth. Then Superman has to fight them. The 3 bad guys from Krypton have the same powers Superman does |

In Superman 3 there is a Smallville high reunion and there he runs into Lana Lang, his high school sweat heart. Superman fights a computer that Lex had created and kryptonite exposure is in this movie.

| In Superman 4, Lex creates a nuclear man to destroy superman and help himself take over the world. This at 1st Superman has a lot of trouble with Nuclear man at first but eventually beats him and sends Lex back to jail |

These Superman movies are the main thing in the Superman series. These happened in the 70’s and these are what Lois and Clark and Smallville had to live up to. Christopher Reeves and Margot Kidder both guessed starred in Smallville and Terence Stamp is the voice of Jor-El. Also Annette O’Toole was Lana in movie 3 who plays Martha Kent in Smallville.
