Martina McBride was born Martina Schiff on July 29^th, 1966. She grew up in Sharon, Kansas. She lived in a small country home with her mom, dad, and younger brother Marty. 

Martina had a love for singing from a young age. She started performing with her brother in her father’s band. Martina later hit the road with Garth Brooks selling T-shirts. Her career took off from there.

A few years later Martina met John McBride a soundman for artists like Charlie Daniels. They got married in 1988 and moved to Nashville a few years later. The McBrides worked together to make a demo that they sent to RCA they liked the tape which help land Martina a recording deal.

The McBrides not only have sky rocketing careers, but three beautiful daughters as well. Delaney the oldest is ten years old. Emma the middle child is seven years old, and the newest addition to the McBride family is baby Ava Rose Kathleen McBride.   

Over the years Martina McBride has taken over country’s biggest fans. Her music has inspired people all over the United States with her powerful lyrics. She has been named CMA’s Female Vocalist of the year four times. If that’s not enough she has placed almost twenty singles in the top ten, and has sold nearly fifteen million records.

Martina has been making dozens of albums for over a decade. Her first debut album was titled The Time Has Come which was released to the public in1992. Martina’s follow up to her first album was The Way That I Am which was released in 1993. Ever since the second release Martina has been making several other country albums. Her newest album Timeless was released in 2005. The album featured her younger brother and many other dedicated musicians.
