Faith Hill was born in Jackson Mississippi on September 21, 1967. She was adopted by Ted and Edna Perry a few weeks after being born. The Perry’s lived in Star Mississippi with their two sons and now Faith.

 

 

 

 

   From a young age Faith loved singing. She started singing at age three, but did not start performing until the age of seven. Faith sang at church, luncheons, and for relatives. Reba McEntire was Faith’s role model all through high school. Faith was only nineteen when she dropped out of college and moved to Nashville to pursue in a singing career.

 

 

                  

 

 

While in Nashville, Faith started selling t-shirts. Then a few months later a Warner Brother executive spotted Faith at a night club, he liked what he saw and signed her a solo deal. Over the next year or so Faith spent most of her time making an album and getting her voice heard.

 

 

 

 

In 1996 faith went on the Spontaneous Combustion Tour. She was the show opener for Tim McGraw. The two started spending a lot of time together, and really enjoyed on another. The couple got married on October 6, 1996.

 

 

                                

 

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill always wanted to have children, and in 1997 their dream came a reality. Faith gave birth to their first daughter Gracie. Later in 1998 the couple had their second daughter Maggie McGraw. The McGraws also had another baby girl, Audrey McGraw in 2001.

 

 

                         

 

 

Faith Hill was one of the largest female artists of the 90’s. She started out singing primarily just country. However she started singing pop as well. She has been so successful for three Country Music Awards, twelve from the academy of Country Music awards, four People’s Choice awards for favorite Female Music Artist Performer in 2001, 2002

 

 

                          

 

Selling over 30 million albums is only part of Faith Hill’s musical career. She started making her first album in 1993, Take Me As I Am, and it sold over two million copies. Today years later Faith is still making chart topping hits.
