The new rookie sensation Sidney Crosby was the # 1 draft pick for the Pittsburgh Penguins and overall for the entire NHL.  Mario Lemieux the owner and captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins formally awarded Sidney Crosby with a Penguins jersey and hat and became an official member of the NHL and most important the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Sidney Crosby was now an honorary member of the Pittsburgh Penguins.  His parents were very happy that he made it to the NHL.  They said “18 years of hockey was time well spent.”  Sidney Crosby their son agreed with his parents.  Just remember Sidney Crosby is only 18 years of age and already an assistant captain for the Pens and is the leading rookie for points.  Just imagine you in 3 or 4 years and already having a job that pays more than your parents.
