There are just some things in life that are so addictive that it is hard not to pay attention to them, or in this case, watch them. Girlmore girls is one of those scenarios. Gilmore girls is a show about a basic mother daughter relationship with a little more of a twist considering we are dealing with television. The background about that show is that the mother, Lorelai Gilmore, was just 16 years old when she gave birth to Lorelai Gilmore the second, also known as Rory Girlmore. Because they are so close in age, they are the best of friends and share everything with each other. There are many other characters who are in the girls lives that play a big role in this show. There is Luke who is the local diner owner and has had a crush on Lorelai ever since she first ran away from her parents a year after she has Rory. There's Sookie who is Lorelei's best friend who works at the Independence Inn with her. (Lorelai's job the manager of the Independence Inn.) They both have a secret ambition to become co-owners of their own Inn someday. It just may happen. Then there is Emily and Richard Gilmore, who are Lorelai's parents, Rory's grandparents, and are completely loaded with money. There is Lain who is Rory's best friend. There is Dean who is Rory's crush on the TV. show and soon becomes her boyfriend after he follows her around for a while. There is Michael who is also a very annoying man, but very funny, who works at the Independence Inn with Lorelai and Sookie. And last but least there is Paris, who in the first season is Rory's enemy at her new school, Chilton. The first season starts out with Rory finding out that she has been excepted into Chilton, however she doesn't want to go because she finds Dean who has just moved to Stars Hallow from Chicago. Towards the end of the season Dean tells Rory that he loves her but her shy personality holds her back from saying it and they break up. Will they ever get back together? Then there is Lorelai who meets Max. Max is Rory's English teacher at Chilton who asks Lorelai out on a date. At first she declines ignoring her true feelings for him. After she come to relies that she really does like him so says yes to the date. Lorelai and Max date during the whole season and at the end Max pops a question...but what question might that be? The second season starts right where the first season left off. Rory and Dean are back together and Lorelai and Max are engaged!! However things are getting a little crazy in Stars Hallow because Luke's nephew, Jess, comes to Stars Hallow because his mom, Luke's sister, needs to get her life back on the right track. Jess right from the start has the hots for Rory and immediately tries to get her. This doesn't exactly go over to well with Dean. But Rory ignores Dean's calls to hang out with Jess and finds herself hanging around and thinking about Jess more then she does Dean. What can this possibly turn into? Max and Lorelai end up not getting married because of Max. Lorelai is heard broken and doesn't think that she can go on. However, she does date some other small men who aren't exactly mentioned in the shows. Sookie and Jackson, the vegetable man, become engaged and get married and the end of the season. Also a surprise visit from Christopher, Rory's dad and Lorelai's first love, comes to visit them. Lorelai and Christopher become very close and are going to get back together but at the end of the season Sharrie, Chris's girlfriend, finds out that she is going to be having a child. So Chris leaves Lorelai and Rory and goes back to Sharrie, leaving Lorelai's heart crushed and Chris very sad. Rory at the end of the season decides to go to Washington DC because her and Jess kiss and she feels awful about doing that to Dean. What happens next??

Next up we have season three. This is personally one of my favorite seasons. Rory returns from Washington DC and finds out that Jess has left and Dean is there waiting for her. She thinks that everything is going to be okay now because of the fact that Jess has left. Then all of a sudden he comes back and she feels that that is who she really does like. However she doesn't have the heart to tell Dean so she stays with him and turns her feelings for Jess into anger and smart comments. Jess ends up hooking up with a local girl just to make Rory jealous. Then at the Stars Hallow annual dance marathon all heck breaks loose. Dean dumps Rory because he discovers that she likes Jess and he can't take it anymore. He ends up getting a new girlfriend named Lindsey and Jess and Rory finally date!! Lorelai goes through a whole stage where she doesn't date at all in this season however she does have flings with many men. At the end of this season though Jess leaves, leaving Rory behind with a broken heart and no explanation. What happens next?? Will Rory pick Harvard or Yale??

The fourth season is the next one. In this season Lorelai meets Jason, a man she has grown up with all of her life and ends up dating. In this season Rory decided to pick Yale even though that was where her grandfather went and since her mother and grandparents do not get along Lorelai really doesn't want Rory going there. However, she does and she loves it. She rooms with Paris who got turned down into getting into Harvard but ends up becoming best friends with Rory. Dean and Lindsey become engaged and Rory is confused. Lorelai and Jason try to hind their relationship from Lorelai's parents because she doesn't want them to find out. She thinks it's a bad idea if they were to find out. The Independence Inn where she works ends up getting burned down and Lorelai and Sookie finally open up there own in called The Dragon Fly Inn. Rory and Dean at the end of this season get together and Dean commits adultery with Rory and gets a divorce with Lindsey. However will everything turn out okay going into the fifth season?? And what about Lorelai and Jason how does their relationship turn out? Well Jason threatens to sue Lorelai's father. Even though she doesn't get a long with her dad, she can't take that. So she dumps him. Jason doesn't believe it and he keeps showing up at The Dragon Fly. Lorelai is very upset with this because finally after 4 seasons she and Luke get together!!! What will happen next?

Rory and Dean's relationship starts out okay in season 5. Rory is at college and so is Dean so they don't exactly see each other every single day. Rory's friend Marty introduces her to a kid named Logan, who is the coolest guy at Yale. He's rich, smart, very cute, and on top of all that he is the party guy of the world. He at first seems to ignore Rory and shows no interest but after about 2 episodes he comes off to Rory really wanting to get to know her. But she has a boyfriend. Lorelai and Luke are now officially dating and are so in love. But in the middle of the season Luke breaks off with her because he feels he doesn't belong in "her world." She is so devastated. It can't be possible. Rory and Dean break up and Rory becomes to the girlfriend to Logan. Lorelai and Luke effectually get back together after her mom comes into town to talk to Luke. Rory decides to drop out of Yale and Lorelai is furious. What will happen in season 6? Who knows. It's a mystery to me.
