Aragorn is a formidable warrior. He is the future king of gondor. With the remade sword , he fights many battles, such as helms deep, minis tirith, and the black gate. Aragorn is also a member of the fellowship of the ring. |

Gandalf is an istari Wizard. He was originally known for his fireworks and parlor tricks. He then becomes more serious as the journey unfolds. He earns the ranking of a white robed wizard when he defeats the balrog of morgoth. He is thought to be dead, ( he sort of was but came back), and he comes back to help man fight this great evil. |

Legolas is an elven archer. He is 7,000 years old and comes from the land of the woodland elves. He then travels to rivendel, and meets up with the fellowship. he becomes a member. He then befriends a dwarf named gimlie, and becomes a key element to protecting Frodo and the ring. |

Merry and pippin are to hobbits from the shire. The fall into the adventure when Frodo and Sam run into them in farmer maggot’s crop. |

Sauron is the dark lord of mordor. He was once in human form, but when he made the ring of power and destroyed everything in his path, he was destroyed by an army of elves and men. The ring was not destroyed so his life force still hung in earth in the form of an eye, embellished in flame. Now he seeks the ring to use it to once more cause destruction of middle earth.

Frodo Baggins is a hobbit. Adopted by the infamous Bilbo Baggins, he lives in the shire in his home of bag end. Bilbo found the ring of power in Gollum’s cave and gave it to Frodo before leaving on his last adventure. Now Frodo’s task is to do what no one else can do, destroy the ring of power. |

Samwise gamgee is a hobbit, much like Frodo. Frodo is the closest friend he has. Gandalf put him on the journey to protect Frodo. He is a key element to Frodo’s success in destroying the ring. |

| Borromir and faramir are the sons of the steward of gondor “ denathor” they are brothers. Boromir has always been the favorite of denathor and faramir always felt unloved. Borromir dies defending merry and pippin from many foes… he fails. Faramir is now captain of the knights of gondor. He must take a big step and become a leader in his brother’s stead. | ||

Gimli is a dwarf. His weapon of choice is a double bladed axe. He makes friendly rivalries with the legolas. He is an asset in battle for his brute strength and his lust for war.
