Another thing Poe is well known for are his stories. He is not as famous an author as he is a poet, but that didn't stop him from being a great story writer. He never wrote any full actual novels. Just short stories. Most of them were no more than three pages long. Despite the fact that they were short they were also very good. Like his poems these are all uniquely inspired. Also like his poems they are all mostly sad depressing poems about death. Unlike his poems none of his stories were based on the deaths of any real people. They are still very good stories. No one really knows why he never why he never wrote any novels. It was probably because he didn't have all that many things to write a two-hundred page novel out of. Just enough to make a short story out of it. But it doesn't really matter if your stories our short if they are really good, and his were really good. His stories were still mostly very sad. But like I said earlier that none of them were based off the deaths of any real people. They were mostly on a fictional character dying or something sad or depressing like that. Again No one really knows why he didn't write or base any of his stories off of the deaths of real people. It was probably because it was hard enough to write a poem about the deaths of his loved ones. It would be twice as hard to write a story about it yet alone a novel. This was another thing he was famous for. |
