Poe was probably most famous for his poems. He is probably the most famous poet in the world. The best thing about all his poems is that they are all original. Their are none like them in the entire world. His most famous piece of poetry was probably The Raven. All of his poems are all also uniquely  inspired. For example The Raven was inspired by his own death. The deaths of his passed loved ones were important to his poems. Without their deaths he might have never became a poet. So you see although the deaths of his loved ones is sad, but also extremely vital to his future as a poet, and story writer. Hw was an extremely talented person when it came to thinking of ideas for his many poems. That just might be the reason that people then and now revered him as an amazing poet. He was famous for his poetry because they are all interesting, and if you have an original interesting poem you can expect a lot of people.
