  Ben Roethlisberger is six foot five inches tall and weights 241 pounds.  His birthday is March 2, 1982.  He spent his college years in Miami of Ohio.  Ben has set many NFL records for a rookie quarterback.  They include passing percentage (66.4%) and passer rating (98.1%).  These are also team records set by Roethlisberger.  He became the first quarterback in the National Football League to put together a 13-0 record during the regular season.
 

Jerome Bettis or “ The Bus” is five foot eleven inches tall and weights 255 pounds.  Jerome attended Notre Dame for college.  Bettis is still the focal point of the Steelers’ attack even though he has been getting banged up a lot.  He has a powerful body and quick feet when he runs.  Jerome has sixty-two touchdowns and 11,542 total rush yards.  After the 2005 season Jerome Bettis said that he is going to retire because he got what he wanted.  That something that he wanted was a Super Bowl ring, which they got in that season.

 

Marvel Smith went to Arizona State University for college.  His birthday is August 6, 1978.  He is six foot five inches tall and weights 321 pounds.  Smith used to play as a right tackle but now he plays as a left tackle.  He was selected to the 2005 Pro Bowl.  He was the Steelers second round draft pick in 2000.  He helped lead the way as the National Football Leagues top rushing team and protected the blind side of rookie quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

  Dan Kreider plays as a fullback on the Steelers.  He has established himself as one of the top blocking backs in the league.  He is five foot eleven inches and weights 255 pounds.  He was born on March 11, 1977.  He went to New Hampshire for his college years.  Last, Dan Kreider moved into the starting lineup in 2000 after surpassing all expectations as an undrafted rookie free agent.
 

Max Starks attended the University of Florida when he was in college.  He is 24 years old and was born on January 10, 1982.  He weights a massive 337 pounds but he is six foot seven inches tall.  Starks is a right tackle on the offensive line.  Max is the son of former NFL player Ross Browner.  He was one of four 2004 draft picks to make the final roster and saw playing time as an extra lineman.

  Hines Ward is the wide receiver for the super Steelers.  He is six feet tall and weights 215 pounds.  He went to Georgia in his college years and was born on March 8, 1976.  Hines is arguably the most complete receiver in the National Football League.  He was selected to his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl (the most by any wide receiver in team history).  He had eighty receptions and 1,004 receiving yards last year.  Also, Hines Ward was picked as the Super Bowl MVP this year.
  Kendall Simmons, a guard for the Steelers, is six foot three inches tall and weights 319 pounds.  Simmons attended Auburn for college.  He was born on March 11, 1979, which makes him almost 27 years old.  Kendall was a first-round draft pick in 2002.  During the 2004 training camp, Simmons tore his ACL in his right knee, which ended his hopes for rebounding from a disappointing 2003 season.  He received the Joe Greene Great Performance Award as the team rookie in 2002.
  Jerame Tuman has been the Steelers starting tight end since last season.  He is developing into a solid tight end every season.  Tuman weights in at 253 pounds and is six foot four inches tall.  He was born on March 24, 1976, which makes him around 30.  He went to the University of Michigan for college.  He has been doing the best in the past two seasons and he recorded three touchdowns in 2004.
 

Jeff Hartings is a nine-year veteran center for the Steelers.  Hartings is six foot three inches tall and weights in at around 299 pounds.  He went to college at Penn State.  Jeff was born on September 7, 1972, which would make him 33 years old.  Hartings was selected to his first Pro Bowl after being picked as a first alternate four times in the past five years.

 

Alan Faneca finished his 2004 season in Hawaii, making his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl appearance.  Faneca is the guard for Pittsburgh.  He is six foot five inches tall and weights about 307 pounds.  He attended Louisiana State University for college.  Faneca had his best season in 2004 while protecting rookie quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

  Antwaan Randle El, the Steelers’ wide receiver, punt returner, and kick returner, went to Indiana for college.  He was born on August 17, 1979.  He weights about 192 pounds and is five foot ten inches tall.  Randle El just started getting more starts as a receiver in 2004.  He has the ability to get open and he ahs exceptional hands when it comes to catching the ball.
