| Although a lot of people that live in Pittsburgh do not like the Pirates, they didn't always stink. In fact, they have been to the World Series six times. And they even won it four out of six of them. But, unfortunately, the last time that we were in it was 1979. We had a good team then. |

The MLB playoffs consist of eight teams. To make it to the playoffs, a team must win about 95-100 out of 162 games in the regular season. Four teams in each conference( National League and American League) will make it to the playoffs. They then will play other teams based upon their rank. Each series consists of seen games. A team musts win four out of seven of the games to advance in the next round. |
