The Best Sport Ever

To be considered one of the better players in Pony baseball today, you’ll need some of the best equipment. Theses things consist of bats and gloves of all different sorts. The picture to the left is one of the many different types of Easton Stealths. This one costs around $279.99. Yes, I realize that this is an expensive bat. But this bat is the top of the line.

The bat to the right is also an Easton-made bat. I (personally) like these types of bats because I have a tendency of denting and cracking bats. Easton is the first brand of bats that I have not cracked or dented. This bat costs around $219.99. But you can find an earlier model of it for less. I recently just bought the 2005 model of it.

[A wooden bat.]

The bat pictured above is one of a Louisville Slugger wooden bat. Wooden bats are what MLB (Major League Baseball) players have to use. Wood bats can cost anywhere between $20-120. But that varies depending upon the bat’s manufacturer and the type of wood. I have only used one wooden bat in my life and I cracked it so I haven’t really gone back to wooden bats yet.

In baseball, there are many different types of gloves to use. And, of course, they all have to deal with the position that you play. Some types are pitcher’s gloves, catcher’s gloves, and first basemen’s gloves. There are also different sizes ranging from about 9.7 inches to 13.6 inches. The picture at the bottom left is a catcher’s glove. I have a Nike catcher’s glove and it isn’t really holding up too well. The one on the bottom left is a Rawlings made glove. They are good gloves.

The picture on the top right is a Nike infielder’s glove. The infielder’s glove differs in the fact that the pocket is deeper so it makes it easier to field a ground ball. This glove costs about $250 because it is made by Nike. Other gloves of the same quality can be purchased for less money.

The picture to the left is a Mizuno first basemen’s glove. This gloves webbing is very long and the pocket is bigger so it’s easier to scoop a ball out of the ground.
