That 70's Show

The 70’s was an era known for its music.  The gang really enjoyed music and they were usually listening to it as they relaxed in the Forman’s basement.  They also got a lot of free records because Hyde works at his dad’s record store.  Anyway, I will be sharing with you the music the gang enjoyed and where you can find some music from the show.

The picture to the right is a picture of a band named Cheap Trick.  This is the rockin band that plays the theme song for the show.  The lyrics are as follows:

Hangin out

down  the street

The same old thing

we did last week

And not a thing to do

but talk to you

OH YEAH!!

Hello Wisconsin!

Kitty is definitely a woman who likes to party.  She likes to throw parties at random for anything.  The Hustle was a hit in the 70’s and it was also a hit in Kitty’s household.  Her and her neighbors, Bob and Midge, are shown to the left getting down to the rhythmic flow of the Hustle.

As I said before, Hyde works at a record store that his filthy-rich father that Hyde had just met last season owns.  Hyde can basically take any record he desires for free, and let me tell you, the gang digs it.  They all love rock like Led Zeppelin and Lynyrd Skynyrd.  They love the fact that they can go and get all the music they would like for free.

Although the gang digs rock and loves it dearly, they also occasionally like to disco.  They sometimes hit up disco clubs where they dance the night away to the biggest disco hits.  Fez, surprisingly, is the best disco dancer, according to the crew, and he is known for his smooth moves.

If you are looking for some 70’s Show CD’s you are in luck!  The show has released two albums called “The Rockin Album” and “The Jammin Album.” These albums include many hits from the 70’s, and of course, they include the theme song.  You can buy both online or in stores.
