Killing is my business… and my business is good, is the first album by Megadeth. In 1984 they got signed to Combat Records and their first album came out in 1985. This album has blended elements of speed and thrash metal.

 

 

    

   

Their second album, Peace Sells , but who’s buying, came out in 1986 This was regarded to as Megadeth’s finest hour and a ground breaking thrash metal album.

 

  In 1988 Megadeth’s third album came out. So Far, So Good, So what. Dave Mustaine thought it was short lived.
 

The fourth album came out in 1990, Rust In Peace. The band did not weaken and it became the most technically sophisticated album yet.

 

 

The fifth album, Countdown To Exstinction, came out in July of 1992. It became number two on the Bill board albums and went multi platinum.

 

 

The sixth album came out in 1994. It was Youthanasia. It was the quickest album to go Gold.

 

                                                         

                The seventh album, Hidden Treasures came out in 1995. It wasn't one of their better albums, but still lived up to the Megadeth title. The albums after, went a little more mainstream. Some Megadeth fans stuck with them while others stopped liking them, for their mainsream sound.

                                           

 

Then, Cryptic Writings came out. It was the eighth album and it came out in 1997.

 

                                                                                                    

    

In 2000 They signed to Capitol Records and Megadeth made its ninth album, Capitol Punishment. The tenth album came out in 2002 by the name of Rude Awakening. In that same year they came out with, Still Alive, And Well. Then the latest album came out in 2004 as The System Has Failed. The band is still making albums and is still in business. With, capitol Records they have remastered all of their albums.
