The Zelda series is a huge hit in the U.S., Japan, and many other European countries. There are currently about 15 games. You play as Link. A boy clothed in his green hat, green shirt, and green shorts, although he is occasionally found in other clothing. This potentially dangerous hero cannot be beaten, as far as the Nintendo games go. A personal favorite of mine. Called into duty because something always happens to princess Zelda, which is when Link comes in to save the day. Fighting huge creatures, of all races, Link, is a modern day super hero. Link has been in a few games that were not officially his such as, Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee, Soul Calibur, Soul Calibur 2, and the up and coming Soul Calibur 3. Although these games were not officially his, some people still think that he stole the show. |

Not officially a Zelda game, but he is used in Soul Calibur 2.

The have been many great times for Link, including “The Legend of Zelda: the Ocarina of Time” (featured below), which was ranked number 1 as far as the Nintendo gaming goes. Created for the Nintendo 64, it had a very successful transition to the 3rd dimension. It gave Zelda the big jump to get to what it is today. This advance led not only to the furthering of the Zelda series, but also most of what gaming is today. Without out this series, Nintendo might not have survived the onslaught of Sony games and systems. If you haven’t played any of these great games, get out there, and play! So why are you still sitting here reading, as I know you are. Get out there and play!
