Nintendo's Biggest Hits

“Dude, stop talking, you don’t frighten me.”

Mario, Nintendo’s first big hit, is also amazing in my perspective.  Originally created in 1982, Mario currently has about 107 games! Of course, that is not including all those games that he was in, such as Super Smash Bros., or Super Smash Bros. Melee, or those 5 games intended to come out later in the year 2006.  Mario, formerly known as Jumpman, has an enemy named Bowser.  He was intended to be a giant dinosaur, type creature, but they ended up with this modern day, green, spiked shelled monstrosity. (top left picture.)  Mario allies with many other “people” such as Yoshi (below,) Toad, (featured in the top right corner of the home page,) and even his brother Luigi (left, middle, riding behind Mario in the cart.)

“Mean hunters, going after the innocent fox are they….”

Mario has been dressed in his red garments since the beginning.  No one knows quite why, or how he can go for 24 years without changing clothes.  His brother Luigi, is also always dressed in a familiar outfit, but it is green.  But anyways, Mario is one great name that will go down in history.  He has even taken place in some of those teaching games for young children, such as Mario Teaches Typing, Mario Teaches Typing 2, and Mario FUNdamentals.  Mario is one of those games you can sit there, and play for hours.  Mario was a great decision that Nintendo will never regret.  So, go grab a game, play, and give Nintendo a hand for their great games.

“Is that supposed to scare me, well, your teeth do look kind of pointy…..”

This is a great picture of Mario, on Yoshi, depicting Super Mario world, for the Super Nintendo.
