Nintendo is one of the major video game publishing companies. They really got things started with their release of Mario in 1982. They introduced Samus Aran from Metroid not long after that. Then, the release of the Zelda series came to hand, a great series for the Nintendo corporation. You play as Link. You are usually trying to rescue princess Zelda. As you can clearly see, Nintendo is the master of all gaming companies.

| Nintendo is currently making games for about 4 systems, almost 5. The 5th, up and coming is the Nintendo Revolution. It is going to be great for the “shoot ‘em up,” Otherwise known as 1st person shooter games. The new design of the controller makes it look similar to a television remote control (pictured below.) Along with the revolution, there are a few other games up and coming such as Soul Calibur 3, Super Smash Bros. Revolution, and Super Mario 128. These are supposed to be some of the best games coming out in the near future. This looks like a bright year for the re-uprising of Nintendo, the year to sweep Sony off of their feet and to reclaim the name as the champion of gaming. Will Nintendo be able to pull off this stunt? I guess, we ill just have to wait and see how this year unfolds. | |
